- Practice badge issuing and evidence assessment;
- Get inspired by the Cities of Learning examples of our recognition practices and strategies.

- 02.10.2025 Thu, 15.00-16.30 CEST Brussels time - 4th online workshop “How To Create a Badge System”
- 08.10.2025 Wed, 15.00-16.30 CEST Brussels time - 5th online workshop “How to issue Open Badges”
- 09.10.2025 Thu, 15.00-16.30 CEST Brussels time - 6th online workshop “How to review badge evidence”
In between online workshops, you will be able to complete self-paced activities.

This course is for people who are:
- Youth workers and non-formal educators
- Group leaders in youth projects
- Trainers, facilitators and adult educators
- Youth and adult programme and project managers
- Mentors and coaches
- Career counsellors and advisers
- Organisation managers
- Directly working with learners or managing education, training and learning activities and programmes
Age: from 18 years.
Language: A sufficient level of English is necessary to participate in this course.

This course is our commitment to promote and support badge quality recognition. Successful participation in this course may lead your organisation to be ready to apply for the Cities of Learning Network’s Quality Label for Badge Recognition.
- An online course with an opportunity to meet and learn from the Cities of Learning recognition experts.
- Focuses on developing recognition solutions in youth work, non-formal education, training and adult education contexts.
- Certified training - the Cities of Learning Network partners will offer opportunities for the course participants to assess, validate and recognise learning.
- Digital friendly - the training and learning methodology and activities will include using digital tools and platforms, and digital Open Badges.
- Although a short-term initial phase, the course will offer long-term involvement opportunities to join the Cities of Learning Network activities in the follow-up.
- The course will prepare your organisation for the upcoming EU financing cycle with a focus on the European Union of Skills strategy.
