Today was all about looking forward. You are now equipped to champion your quality badge systems back in your own organisations!

Implementation and next steps

We began the day with a critical look at the systems you first sketched out on Day 1. By revisiting those early ideas, you could clearly see the significant steps taken this week in adding quality, policy, and structure to your initial concepts.

Next, we formalised the essential standards by diving into the Quality Label for Badge Recognition. We covered the final, crucial criteria and, more importantly, everyone identified the specific Quality Label criteria they would tackle upon returning home. This commitment is your direct action point to ensure the long-term credibility of your system.

With this foundation secure, we tackled the remaining challenges. Using the Help Center board, we mapped out all remaining questions. The Open Badges F.A.Q. Padlet will be available also after this training. The group then split into dedicated spaces to work on these specific implementation challenges, covering everything from technical setup to stakeholder communication. The day, and the week, concluded with the final evaluation of the training.

Certification and commitment

This training concludes not with an end, but with a beginning. You all deserve the daily badges that represent your commitment and ability to build quality, trustworthy badge systems. Make sure you also technically earned them! Review the badges you have earned over the last five days, which collectively represent the skills developed in design, issuing, quality, and assessment.

Thank you for your active participation and hard work this week. We look forward to seeing your Future Badging systems thrive!
