Navigating Recognition

This badge recognises a successful journey through the foundational concepts of recognition, exploring personal and organisational learning systems and defining the diverse objectives that drive badge-based initiatives. The earner has actively engaged in understanding the 'why' and 'where' of Open Badges within their professional context.

To earn this badge, the participant must have:
  1. Participated actively in the 'Human Badge Collection' and 'Recognition Objectives' activities.
  2. Developed and presented their personal/organisational 'Recognition Ecosystem' map.
  3. Contributed to group discussions and reflections on Day 1 learning.
  4. Attended the full Day 1 programme.

The course trainers Sandra Zoomers and Laimonas Ragauskas, both certified to deliver Quality Open Badge training by the Cities of Learning Network, confirm the attendance, active participation and reflection of day 1 of the training ‘Recognition of Non-formal Learning with Quality Open Badges’. The training course is supported by the EU programme Erasmus+ and organised by the Network of Cities of Learning.
