Identify and research how some innovations have transformed society. We gave in the activity description the example of Velcro, the material to close things such as pockets and bags.
Some cases to investigate could be the history of developments and use of, or the invention of the compass. Or maybe how steam changed industry or the telephone changed communication. But of course take something that has your interest to do research about.
